Faith Group Travel FAQ

How many people make a group?
Most cruise lines define a group as 8 or more cabins (16 guests). The larger your group, the more perks you receive—like free berths, onboard credits, and private event space.
What kind of groups can travel together?
We plan travel for churches, ministries, Bible study groups, small fellowships, veterans’ ministries, and family groups seeking a faith-centered experience at sea. You can even invite friends or community members outside your congregation.
Can we hold worship or devotionals onboard?
Yes. Most cruise lines allow private group gatherings for prayer, worship, or devotions. We’ll coordinate meeting rooms, times, and A/V support so your group can worship together without affecting the ship’s regular schedule.
Do we have to charter the ship?
No. Your group will sail on a regular cruise among other travelers while enjoying private times for fellowship and worship. This keeps costs lower while still offering an uplifting shared experience.
What benefits do group leaders receive?
Group leaders may earn complimentary berths, onboard credits, or exclusive perks depending on the cruise line and group size. We’ll outline all available incentives before booking.
How far in advance should we start planning?
For best pricing and cabin availability, start 8–12 months before your desired sail date. Larger groups and themed itineraries often sell out early, so advance planning ensures the best rates and room locations.
Do you handle payments for each traveler?
Yes. BTC Faith Tours manages individual payments, registration links, and room assignments so group leaders don’t have to collect or track funds. We make the process simple and organized for everyone.
Can groups join shore excursions together?
Absolutely. We can arrange private group excursions or coordinate your group to join the same tours offered by the cruise line—whether for sightseeing, worship, or cultural immersion.
What if our group includes travelers from different states?
That’s no problem. We serve groups nationwide and can coordinate flights, transfers, and digital pre-cruise meetings. Everyone can book individually but still sail together under one group code.
